As always, the Friends will be organising lots of events for students this year.

Our special project this term is the Friends of PSAD RES’TILING’ PROJECT.

To celebrate Wandsworth being nominated the Borough of Culture 2025, the project was launched last term and the plan is to create a series of beautiful, colourful, tiled panels which will be permanently displayed around both PSAD sites to showcase the calibre of work produced at the school.

THIS IS NOT JUST FOR POTTERS!!

To date many of the art classes have taken part in painting ready-made tiles and we have had some wonderful work emerging from the kilns. Lots of tiles are needed so, if you do want to take part, speak to your tutor or contact the Friends at info@psadfriends.org.uk for more details. The deadline for submissions is Friday 28 February. We hope that staff and tutors may also get involved.

The plan is to create a series of beautiful, colourful tiled panels which will be displayed around both PSAD sites and in the entrance of Oxford Road. These will be professionally assembled and installed to enhance the ‘look’ of the school as a site of vibrant creativity and to showcase the calibre of work produced at PSAD.

We plan to have this installed and ready for unveiling just before Easter in April 2025.

We hope many of you will want to be a part of this exciting new project.
