The School and the Friends are calling students and tutors to donate materials and equipment for new courses. Dig out your libraries, lofts and storages !
Dark Room photography Course – tutor Simon Fernandez
The school is putting together the Black and White darkroom. Whilst some of the specialist equipment is already in place we would greatly appreciate donating any darkroom equipment, trays, timers, red lamps, tripods etc.
Fine art Textile Course – tutor Jane Millar
All necessary equipment for this new course is on its way, however we would greatly appreciate it if you could donate BOOKS! Any textile art related publications would be welcomed, including art books, catalogues of relevant artists and exhibitions. Batsford publish some great books on textile art and practice. We will also need a rich selection of fabrics and we would love any ribbons, yarns, buttons, beads etc that you can give us!
Other helpful materials
There are various other materials and fixtures that would help the school, for example large water bowls for throwing, water pots, rags for the print room, old art books to sell, magazines to use for collage.
