Alton Arts Hub is a new creative space/venue available for use to all Roehampton & Putney Artists.
This is a former Juice Bar renovated and relaunched as a creative space – the Alton Arts Hub – situated at 6 Portswood Place next door to the new Community Shed workshop.
The sign of the art club references the Robert Clatworthy, Grade II listed Bull found close by on Downshire Fields.
The spaces comprise the main room and a further two smaller rooms and a toilet.
It is managed by the Alton Estate Cultural Coordinators on behalf of Wandsworth Council.
They would like the space to be used by the community for the community so if you or any creatives you know are looking for a one off exhibition or workshop space please feel free to contact Jo Baxter, Community Engagement & Cultural Coordinator at Alton Estate.
For funded groups the charge is £5 per day. For non funded groups it is free.
