London Design Festival was launched by Sir John Sorrell CBE and Ben Evans CBE in 2003. The concept was to create an annual event that would promote the city’s creativity, drawing in the country’s greatest thinkers, practitioners and educators to celebrate design. The launch of the first festival at Bloomberg on 25 March 2003, was supported by design, education, government and London organisations. The festival celebrates its 22st edition in September 2024.
It feature curated exhibitions, fascinating installations, showroom events, topical talks, design destinations, and more.
